Wildroots is Commonwealth Academy's nature-based homeschool enrichment play group, providing families with outdoor experiences, hands-on activities, and field trips, all while fostering caregiver connections. This is not a drop off program, but a chance for families to explore nature together. Weekly meetings may tie in to what students are learning in the classroom, celebrate the season, or simply provide space for cooperative play, problem solving, and the age-appropriate risk-taking so commonly experienced in forest schools. Wildroots fosters learning in a range of environments while revisiting Commonwealth Academy lessons and concepts for deeper understanding.
